Stage 11 - roadside attractions in South Dakota. Much debate in the LIOTR team car - is the guy on the left supposed to be Rumsfeld or JFK?
LIOTR Stage 11
Stage 11 takes us 154 miles through South Dakota, and we get to ride the Badlands - we’ve been looking forward to this day for a while.

Today was hot.
Sure, lets do train sprints.
Stage 10 is done and we are in South Dakota. 148 miles at 95+ degrees with a headwind in every direction. Plus the landscape was a little monotonous, so we added train sprints to our normal county line sprints. It made the day a little more interesting. (at Everything looks the same)
Grand Tetons
Another shot from Stage 8. Grand Teton National Park was amazing. Today we’re baking in 95+ heat, just trying to get to the hotel as fast as we can.
